I went to Getuwell on 9/1 for a health concern because my primary care provider was unavailable. The nurse practitioner was knowledgeable, and we had a thorough discussion about the prognosis, next steps, and the prescription medication we agreed would be appropriate. This was also a medication I had taken before. After leaving, I checked my CVS app and noticed the prescription that was submitted was for an OTC version rather than the medication we had discussed. I immediately called Getuwell to have the prescription corrected. Unfortunately, after multiple calls and going back and forth with the office, the issue was never resolved. What started as a positive visit became extremely frustrating due to the lack of follow-through on something as important as a prescription. I now have to wait a week to see my primary care provider to address an issue that should have been resolved during this visit. Based on my experience, I would NOT recommend Getuwell.

Extremely Disappointing New Patient Experience — Asthma & Allergy Care I was seen on August 6, 2026, to establish a new patient relationship for management of my asthma and allergies after moving and needing a new provider. I specifically explained that I had been without some of my maintenance medications and was trying to get my asthma and allergies back under control before I became seriously ill or ended up in the emergency room. Check-in was fairly quick, but unfortunately that was about the only positive part of this experience. During intake, very few vitals were taken. I gave the nurse my asthma and allergy medications, but I later discovered that they were not documented in my chart. The pharmacy information was also entered incorrectly. My interaction with the nurse practitioner was equally disappointing. I explained why I was there, that I had been off medications I normally use to control my asthma and allergies, and that my symptoms were getting worse. My lung examination consisted primarily of listening to my lungs, which sounded terrible, and it seemed difficult to hear my breathing clearly until after I coughed. I had a good experience for awhile, but I honestly would not recommend for mental health care unless you’re sure you’re not going to have issues with insurance or affording health care. I’m in a position where I can’t afford my health insurance anymore and can’t afford the self pay prices especially with the frequency they want you to come in for med management. A few weeks ago I had to cancel my appointment because of insurance issues. I had been going to the location for over a year for mental health management and medication. When I called, the front desk person I spoke with was not someone I had talked to before but they did not care about me or my situation AT ALL. I had to cancel my appointment and asked if I could get just a one month refill on medication I had been taking all along, one just had a small dose change and was told no because it had been more than a month since they saw me and it’s office policy. Asked if she could talk to the provider and was told no it’s office policy. I explained that I cannot afford my insurance and that they’re denying me meds causing me to have to go cold turkey. I had my annual check-up on June 6, 2026. After my test results came in, it took them 10 days and multiple follow-ups just to schedule a consultation. Even after the consultation, they still haven’t sent my prescription to the pharmacy, so I haven’t been able to collect my medication. If you’re planning to book an appointment here, be prepared for long wait times and poor communication throughout the process. This was my first experience with this clinic, and it will definitely be my last.
